These services are available after the PI provides advance notice and the JISAO Grant Information Sheet at least 3 weeks prior to funding agency deadline

Prior to grant award

• Help find funding opportunities
• Complete administrative aspects of grants, including budget and other forms.
• Act is liaison with UW's Office of Sponsored Programs, and--if needed--with funding agencies and collaborative institutions
• Prepare total grant package and obtain required signatures through the UW process.  Submit grant to funding agency by deadline

After grant award

• Prepare monthly reports for PIs listing expenses and projections
• Help interpreting Federal, state and UW rules/guidelines
• Act is liaison with UW's Office of Sponsored Programs and Grant & Contract Accounting, and--if needed--with funding agencies and collaborative institutions
• Budget and salary projections
